Playing uplifting melodic, euphoric and danceable grooves The Mysterious Collective are on the move. Having met and first played together in early 2017 they toured the North West then rocked Molly’s Stage at WOMAD and Devizes International Street Art Festival.

Their original music is influenced by mix of African, Middle Eastern and South-East Asian flavours but sounds like nobody else – it’s totally fresh. Mix elements of folk, world and electronic tribal beats with ethereal harmonies – throw in a few live remixes of classic 90’s dance anthems driven by Simon Wood’s three Hang drums and cajon kick rhythms and you’re in groovy heaven baby! Michael Cretu’s funky upright bass, Holly Marland’s slick West African Kora and Tamara Kazziha’s soulful violin are lifted into another dimension by Tamara’s other-worldly vocals and Holly’s lilting harmonies.

The band love playing live and their charm, good humour and musical dexterity is captivating for any crowd. Currently working on their first studio recordings The Mysterious Collective are looking forward to playing at many festivals to uplift souls and get everyone on the dance floor moving.
